What you will do:

The Ambulatory Pharmacies are open from 8:00am - 8:00pm.  Shifts will rotate within those hours. Schedule may include weekend and holiday rotation.

As the Clinical Pharmacist you will perform all aspects of Pharmaceutical dispensing, including 3rd party claims processing and patient counseling.  You will maintain drug inventory and purchases (orders) drugs as required from vendors; incorporates returns for credits. The Clinical Pharmacist will oversee Pharmacy Technicians in day to day work.  You will have responsibility in providing drug information to patients and clinic providers and for ensuring safe and effective medication use practices and processes. You will maintain appropriate records for all controlled substances and complete monthly financial reports for Pharmacy location. You will be responsible for maintaining a neat and efficient work flow and physical environment and meeting productivity targets, and serve as primary resource for medication-related issues within DPH, JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.

•Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service.

•Demonstrated success in teamwork and collaboration and in achieving results.

•Must meet physical demands of the job. Working knowledge of computer systems.

•Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred)

•Massachusetts Registered Pharmacist License

•Minimum two years Registered Pharmacist experience required
