Medical Assistant - Primary Care/Specialty

What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Graduate of an accredited MA program.
One year of experience in a medical office preferred.
American Heart Basic Life Support (CPR) required.
Must be ONE of the following:
1. Certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
2. A Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
3. Registered as an American Medical Technologist (AMT)
4. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association
What You Will Do:
Providing patient centered care
Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider
At High Street Health Center, you will care for an adult population. Some cross coverage to specialties. At the Dermatology clinic, you will care for a pediatric and adult population.
What You Need to Know:
Hours of the High Street Health Center are Monday and Thursday, 8am-8pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am-5:30pm. Flexibility for scheduling is needed within these hours. Employee will be expected to work one evening clinic per week.
GED or HiSET (Required)
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Certified Medical Assistant - Various
