Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Central Staffing Office (CSO)!

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

CENTRAL STAFFING OFFICE. High quality, safe and effective patient care, by providing supplemental staffing resources to nursing units hospital-wide, on an anticipated and unanticipated basis, with the primary focus on patients and families. Our vision is to provide Baystate Medical Center (BMC) with flexible staffing solutions in support of the organization’s mission.

WORK LIFE BALANCE. The CSO is designed for flexibility in scheduling and offers a variety of employment opportunities:

  • Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekend Only, Per Diem status availability
  • Shifts available in 4, 6, 8 and 12-hour blocks

HIGH EARNING POTENTIAL! Per Diem Nurse compensation will be a tiered system based clinical competency flexibility and availability

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in Massachusetts
  • Minimum 2 years acute care experience with the last 12 months actually working in area of specialty (i.e. neuro, cardiovascular/telemetry, trauma, intermediate care, behavioral health, med-surg, ICU, Etc.)
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR and other required certifications for specialty areas and conditions for employment requirements (American Heart Association certifications only)
  • Willing to float to more than one area
