Performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients on the unit during his/her shift. Responsible for meeting the established standards of Nursing Practice, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment of unit, and for promoting team work with the physician and personnel of other departments
Required: Graduate of an accredited School Of Nursing and currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Current BLS and ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire. Desired: BSN, Certified in specialty area.
Required: 2 years critical care experience in a fast paced environment (ED, ICU, and SDC). Required: Must have recent Emergency Room experience.
Must be able to stand and walk independently for 8-12 hours. Must have gross motor function of both hands and feet. Must have precise motor functions of both hands. Must be able to reach, bend, lift, carry, push and pull one third of the time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less unassisted and 51 lbs. or more assisted. Must be sighted and able to distinguish colors.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time 36 hours - 7:00pm-7:30am
